Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0) Installed from: FreeBSD Ports Compiler: gcc 3.4.2 OS: FreeBSD First one. An event does not disappear from the calendar when I "right-click" and choose delete. The dialog "Are you sure..." + "This event includes other people..." shows up and the emails get sent but the event remains in my calendar. After trying a couple of times and a restart of kontact one of the events I tested on disappeared. Second. I've been trying for quite a while to get the free/busy handling work. I could only see some contact's lists while other's did not load (only a striped line shows instead). I'm not sure but this seems to get fixed when I manually entered the correct URL's in a file named freebusy.url under %home/.kde/share/apps/korganizer/. After this the freebusy lists shows up correctly. All in all the setup feels very unintuitive with several places to enter the server for Free/busy lists a.s.o. The third error I suspect has to do with the Kolab server and not KDE so I won't describe it here...
I'm having a problem with korganizer/kontact freebusy as well. I can give you a little more detail: I've set up korganizer to look up freebusy urls, and automatically download from: https://kolab.ip.address/freebusy/ I've set it to retrieve using the full email address as well. Looking at the access logs for the kolab web server, it only requests https://kolab.ip.address/freebusy/ (which yields "403: access forbidden"). It never requests the full freebusy URL for that user: the expected result is that it should request from the url: https://kolab.ip.address/freebusy/email@domain.nam.ifb (which yields the freebusy calendar for that email address correctly). The workaround to make this function at all is manually double-click on each email address in the freebusy screen, and enter in the full URL for each individual email. This is pretty useless if you're doing groupware with a lot of people. In the end, I built a script to run when korganizer starts and generate a correctly formatted .kde/share/apps/korganizer/freebusyurls file for the entire directory from ldap. I tried the first problem and it's working fine, no bug there. Can you try the second problem and see if it persists?
Non-reproducible 5 year old bug with no feedback.
