Description Sebastien 2005-03-29 18:03:12 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)

- Take a page with a <textarea>.
- Switch focus from and to the Konqueror window.
  Everything fine.
- Now, click the textArea: it Looooooong!
- ThenSwitch focus from and to the Konqueror window.
You will see that the konqueror window is way toooooo long to focus again!

Surprising, isn't it?
I'm making a WEB application that has a textaArea as the main widget, focusing it by default.
It's a lot of pain: each time I reload the page the textArea is focused and then... the page reloading seems to freeze the window!
Everything is fine in other browsers: reloading the page is mostly instantaneous.

Tentatively marking as duplicate because symptoms sound the same.

If the solution there doesn't work for you, please reopen.
