Description John C Borkowski III 2005-03-23 16:35:12 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

See bug 61438 for collaboration. Sorry to be a moron, but I dont know how to reopen a bug.

Actions:
Open Control Panel -> Sound Notification -> Audio Player
setting volume lower to than 100% causes no sound to be played.
setting volume back to 100% and sound works again.

I understand this happens with SUSE too.

I have ensoniq1370. Using alsa.

For me, this bug only exists for OGG files. The volume works perfectly for WAV files. Is that what others are experiencing?

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Kcontrol has been replaced by System Settings in Plasma. Please give the latest version of that a try, and open a new bug in "systemsettings" if you continue to have an issue. Thank you!
