Description salvatore di mauro 2005-03-23 13:38:27 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

the text of attributes and operations don't fit the class square.
The class resizes erroneously even changing font size

Yes, it's a known problem which was fixed in 1.4. Please upgrade.

situation after umbrello upgrade

I upgraded umbrello compiling 1.4 sources with kdelibs4-dev, but the problem
still remains... do I have to upgrade KDE to 3.4?

Oh. That's strange, I remember having fixed such a problem.
Well, it might be another one. Could you attach the XMI file?
Thanks.

Cannot reproduce with 1.4 or cvs head using the attachment (id=10341) -
but this doesn't mean the bug does not exist.
Please provide an exact transcript of your actions to produce the bug.

Do you mean your version does open the xmi attachment and correctly displays
the class?

I don't know if I'm understanding ... by the way, here it is:

- downloaded Source package: umbrello-1.4.0.tar.bz2 from
http://uml.sourceforge.net/download.php

- tar xvjf ...
- cd umbrello....
- less README
- less INSTALL
- apt-get install kdelibs-dev -->  installed kedlibs4-dev
- ./configure
- make
- make install

- opened umbrello
- created new class with attribute and operations --> noticed the problem
...

- tried deleting .kde/share/config/umbrellorc ...
- tried at lower resolutions ... ( I'm using XFree86 4.3.0.1, ati driver
8.8-25, screen resolution 1400x1050)

I'll try something else ...

Yes.
I'm afraid I won't be able to do something about this bug, given that
I cannot reproduce it (BTW I tried with about 30 different fonts.)
Any takers?
