Description Rafal Maj Raf256 2005-03-22 15:07:34 UTC
Version: 3.3.1 (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

When I save&exit, and then restart KOrganizer, then some ToDo's are gone, are moved to other date and so on. Also I think sometimes an appoitment dissapears!

Also, after saving there should be a message like "Ok, saved in /home/.....ics"
perhaps in status bar of main window.

I'm curently using ver. 3.3 - as far as I can see the main problem is that a 'fresh' (empty) calendar display opens after every reboot. Subsequently, one has to (re)open the 'correct' .ics-file manually. This appears to be an unnecessary nuisance - especially if the user has only one calendar, which supposedly is the prevailing situation!(?)
Moreover, the 'Handbook' seems somewhat incomplete(?): e.g. the 'Five minute Fly-over Course...' doesn't mention the requirement of *saving* events (if such requirement exists??), the distinction btwn. 'Active Calendar' vs. 'file resource' is not covered(?), etc.

Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created
korganizer-devel mailing list.

Actually I'm not able to loose events/todo (excluding some bugs on remote files which is not this case).

Even manage multiple calendars is well done with resources.

About when/how saving, it is done automatically, so there is no need to mention it on the manual.

Anyway, if you have suggestion about the documentation, feel free to contribute!

Thanks a lot!
