Description pmarques 2005-03-21 23:22:24 UTC
Version: 3.4 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
OS: Linux

When trying to do ldap searches to a Windows Active Directory Domain that requires to login. Using simple authentication. It keeps coming back prompting for username/password. The username/password are correct, as it worked in the previous versions of kaddressbook(3.3.x). It stopped working after upgrading to kde 3.4.

Hello, can you confirm that the bug is still present in KDE 3.5 (preferably 3.5.5)?

kde 3.5.4 and 3.5.5 don't have this issue

The development of the old KAddressBook will be discontinued for KDE 4.4.
Since the new application has the same name, but a completly new code base we close all bug reports against the old version and ask the submitters to resend there reports against the new product.
