Description Raphael Badin 2005-03-21 10:39:05 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Since this version (1.2.2), the repeat button dos not work any more, playlist just continues if the repeat button is pressed or not instead of repeating the track.
Comment 1 Mark Kretschmann 2005-03-21 10:59:32 UTC
Just to be sure: You mean the "Repeat Track" feature? Or "Repeat Playlist"?

Comment 2 Raphael Badin 2005-03-21 11:22:17 UTC
I mean the _repeat track_ feature.
(the icon looks like a '!' surrounded by a square.)

(by the way, let me thank you for your wonderful work fellas)
Comment 3 Mark Kretschmann 2005-03-21 11:35:35 UTC
Hmm, it works correctly here. Can't reproduce..

Comment 4 Raphael Badin 2005-03-21 11:48:24 UTC
Strange ... I use version 1.2.2 form kalyxo (1.2.2-0kalyxo1).
I tried to downgrade to version 1.2.1-1 from debian sid and it works again ... back to 1.2.2 and repeat does not work ... it really seems related to version 1.2.2.
I also tried with different audio format (just in case) but the problem is always there.
Comment 5 Mark Kretschmann 2005-03-21 12:07:05 UTC
To clarify:

amaroK 1.2.2 fixes this bug: In prior versions, when Repeat Track was enabled, you could not forward to the next track manually, using the "Next" button. You can do that now, which is the correct behavior.

However, when reaching track-end, the track will be repeated, as intended.
Comment 6 Raphael Badin 2005-03-21 12:11:18 UTC
well, I am really surprised ... because (as I said), with version 1.2.2, when reaching track-end, with the repeat track function enabled, the play just continues to the next track ...
Comment 7 Seb Ruiz 2005-03-21 12:25:11 UTC
Umm... Testing this on cvs, and i have perfectly normal actions. Item repeats
itself indefinitely on repeat mode.
Comment 8 Alexandre Oliveira 2005-03-21 16:03:18 UTC
Works for me too (CVS).
If the track ends normally, it is repeated.
If I use next, next track is played, as expected.
Comment 9 Raphael Badin 2005-03-21 16:12:51 UTC
Before I call myself a fool ... I'd like to hear about someone using 1.2.2 kalyxo (1.2.2-0kalyxo1) on debian ...
Comment 10 Seb Ruiz 2005-03-21 23:20:45 UTC
I am marking this as resolved, since it *does* work! Please try cvs, or a different package. If you are still having problems, then reopen the bug. Else, move onto Kalyxo bugs :-)

Can you please re-open this bug report? In amarok 1.3.2 the repeat track function also doesn't work anymore (KDE 3.4.2, Debian Sid). If I press the button and the marked track ends it is not repeated, instead the repeat mark is moved to the next track which then is played (and also not repeated).

I can't confirm this, Janet. Just tested with current SVN, it worked as
expected.
