Version: unknown (using KDE 3.3.2-0.1 Red Hat, Red Hat Linux (Heidelberg)) Compiler: gcc version 3.4.2 20041017 (Red Hat 3.4.2-6.fc3) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.9-1.667 Digikam and kipi-plugins compiled and installed fine, but the raw conversion plugin says failed to convert. Won't generat preview either. I'm using dcraw ver. 6.31. in /usr/bin/ and /usr/local/bin. Not sure where the plugin looks for it. That's it. No crash, just an error message. BTW my dcraw works fine with my gimp plugin and with my installed ufraw. Thanks

Thanks. I wasn't sure cos that report doesn't say what happens when that option is passed to dcraw. I tried dcraw manually on a file using the -g option and indeed it does not ignore, but just returns error. So I went to that .cpp file and commented out that line, recompiled and installed. Now it works!
Ok, thanks for testing. We will use this information to fix the kipiplugin before a new release is made.

I have same problem. My configuration: FreeBSD 6.1-RELEASE gcc version 3.4.4 [FreeBSD] 20050518 KDE 3.5.3 digiKam 0.8.1_3 kipi-plugins-0.1.0.r1_4,1 dcraw it self works fine. I checked 'dcrawprocess.cpp' file it has option '-b' but plugin still does not work and give me 'failed to convert'. Thanks.
Not reproducible with digiKam 6.0.0 pre-release and libraw 0.19. Gilles Caulier
