Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.3.91)
Installed from:    Unlisted Binary Package
OS:                Linux

After upgrading from SuSE KDE 3.3 to 3.3.91 I can no longer send e-mails. I get the error SASL -4 security failure. I have re-built the e-mail accounts but still have the same error.

You need to install the cyrus-sasl packages with the authentication methods you are using. KDE uses those now.

I have cyrus-sasl-2.0.15-109 installed but it still doesn't work, do I need a later version or do I need to configure the cyrus-sasl someway?

I have cyrus-sasl-2.0.15-109 installed, do I need a later version?
