Description Moshe Caspi 2005-03-08 12:05:51 UTC
Version: 1.0 beta10 (using KDE 3.3.2, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.3 (Mandrakelinux 10.2 3.4.3-3mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.10-1mdk

akregator adds 2 hours to <pubDate> so the article time is <pubDate>+2. Check this feed:

http://www.themarker.com/tmc/content/xml/rss/sections/mediafeed.jhtml

I happen to live at GMT+2.
Comment 1 Frank Osterfeld 2005-04-15 17:37:07 UTC
As the feed doesn't specify a timezone, Akregator assumes GMT. Which is results in +2 hours for you. The only thing we can do about it is making the timezone configurable.
Comment 2 Eckhart Wörner 2005-04-25 10:16:04 UTC
As Frank said, this is not Akregator's fault but the fault of the feed owner.
Comment 3 Mike Bridge 2009-01-19 04:27:01 UTC
This should be closed - Content owner's responsibility.
