Description Brian Beck 2005-02-24 19:09:09 UTC
Version: 2.0 (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-8)
OS: Linux

I have noticed a few errors in the Kfind Hanbook (Revision 1.20.01 (2004-04-11)). If I simply have an old version of the handbook, and the problems have been resolved I apologize for taking your time.

Thanks,

"Chapter 2. Finding Files" -> "The Name/Location Tab", the description for "The Question Mark" appears to be missing the first sentence.

Patch to fix the first problem (The first sentence wouldn't show up completely)

O.k. this is weird, I look at the index.docfile, and the sentence was there and
and intact. So after playing around with it a little bit I noticed that if the
words "In contrast" were at the beginning of the sentece the sentence would
disappear when view in K Help . So in frustration I deleted the entire
sentence and retyped it back in, and that seemed to fix it.
