the same bug with additional information registered also at debian bug tower - http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=268943 does this still happen with kdepim 3.4? Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created korganizer-devel mailing list. well, you probably gave up on KOrganizer a long time ago because of this bug :) But, I'm sure this is due to the old binary attachment bug we've had in the libical library for many years. In KDE 4.2, we should finally use a much newer, modern version of libical and I think this bug has been fixed. In case anyone experiences this bug though, the solution is to remove all binary attachments from your calendar. The easiest way to do this is load your calendar in SunBird first. Sunbird doesn't support binary attachments and strips them out for you. Hopefully this bug will be gone forever in KDE 4.2. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 168367 *** |
