Description Pekka Jääskeläinen 2004-09-17 14:29:36 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

It would be great if Umbrello had the same use for cursor keys Rational Rose has: they are used to fine tune the position of the selected class in the class diagram. It moves the class one pixel to the cursor key direction. It's very useful when one wants to straighten the association lines.

How come this is marked as resolved for so long when I can NOT move items on the canvas using the cursor keys in umbrello 1.5.7 (SVN checkout on 2007-04-14) on kubuntu Edgy? I am desperately waiting for this feature.

Excuse me for shouting, reading over my previous comment it seems more harsh to me than it was meant. Thanks for having a look at the issue anyway!

As Oliver Kellogg hinted in Bug 144216, Cursor Key Movement can be done using ALT+Cursor Keys in Class Diagrams, I can confirm this works with (at least) Sequence Diagrams and Use Cases.

However, it works not in Activity Diagrams, which I use most of the time. Sorry for the misunderstanding and my finding that out only now.
