Description Jure Repinc 2004-07-29 10:10:32 UTC
Version: 1.6.82 (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: GCC 3.4.1
OS: Linux

I have used Anti-Spam Wizard to set up Spamassassin to work with KMail. It created two actions to mark mail as spam or ham used to learn the filter. The problem is this:
If I mark message as spam it is moved to spam folder but the view in message preview pane still remains of this message marked as spam. If I then click on the message that was right after that message the preview pane is not updated to show the next message. To update the pane I have to select any message before the message marked as spam or the second or third... after it.
The same happens when I mark a message as ham only that the marked message is not moved.
If I click on the message right after (below) the one marked as spam/ham it should be shown in previw pane.

This is a dupplicate of:

http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72754

That has been closed, but the problem is still there. It would be nice to have that fixed before release, because it gives kmail UI a bad aspect.

Thanks!

Yeah it indeed looks like duplicate. But it happens here even if the message is not moved but just marked as ham which leaves the message where it is.

Mmmm... perhaps that's a different bug.

This bug is about clicking on "Classify as Spam". Then it works, but the preview pane is not updated.

I think that should happen the same as when I press Delete Key. The message is moved to Trash and then the next message is displayed. That should happen when I "Classify as Spam".
