As there's this plugin: http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=21998/ (and people can improve/change it the way they like), I'm closing this request. I was just about to file a similar bug and saw this. Yet the "plugin" linked to does not exist. Can someone advise an updated url? My main wish is for pausing on screen lock, and for anyone else wishing this it is possible if you script it: disable the ctrl-alt-l screenlock shortcut make a bash script executable, say screenlock.sh: #!/bin/bash dcop amarok player pause dcop kdesktop KScreensaverIface lock Then make a menu entry for that script, and add the keyboard shortcut of ctrl-alt-l to the menu entry. Would be nice to have this functionality as an option in amaroK. (kick ass music player, by the way! love it!!) Cheers! Hey, this is my script: http://de.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=23353 Works here fine, if you have any problems, just tell me ;) Bye Works great for me. Well done sir. |
