OOps, one more thing: if this has already been fixed in the CVS, just let me know which module, and I'll gladly compile and install from that. I only want to help everyone concerned :) I can confirm this with a fresh install of FC1, patched with all FC1 updates, and then upgraded directly to KDE 3.2.1. There's lots of icons missing in KDevelop amongst other applications. Fixed RPM's would really be appreciated. I'm taking the liberty of adding another report on this from David Harel on the KDE list: http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde&m=107920394202731&w=2 On Thursday 25 March 2004 11:21, Tarjei Knapstad wrote:

Please contact your packager. The KDE project releases sources and isn't
responsible for the packaging. You have to contact the Fedora people directly.
Thanks, David :) I do apologize for reporting this to KDE. I just assumed that since Fedora Core 1 does not appear to have any offical updates to KDE 3.2.1, and since I got the RPM's from ftp.kde.org, that it was a KDE issue. If anyone is interested, I Bugzilla'd this bug. You can find it here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=119144 I have to admit I am not sure I did right when voting for this bug. Apparently I made a mistake when I installing KDE 3.2.1. I thought I can use Fedora RPMs on a RedHat 9 machine. ( Until I realized that Fedora is not just a package selection, It is somewhat different ). I now am in the process of installing KDE from source code. It takes a long time to compile but the results are much better. I think, not sure though, that this installation will solve all the icons problems. The only thing I think should be taken care of is that there should be a noticeable notice regarding the incompatibility.
