Please update to CVS HEAD. CVS support is improved there. If you have installed cervisia you can try the much improved CvsService (which is different from cvs, at least for now) integration in kdevelop: more functionalities and the ability to perform multiple diff from one log (yeah, it annoyed myself losing the log to have the diff ;-) Note that you need first to install Cervisia and then *re-run configure* and rebuild kdevelop. I forgot to say that I'm speaking about this current CVS version (alpha6 does not provide "multiple diffs from a same log" feature). It works well but (1) diff views will use prettier visualization and (2) maybe the behaviour will change to use the embedded KDevDiffPart.
