steps to reproduce:
1. use kopete
2. lock your screen (so you see the screensaver)
3. if someone signs on in kopete, these knotify messages get above the klock'ed screen. not a real problem, but someone could see every incoming message if you enable the incoming message-notify in kopete.

I believe this is a knotify issue.
