*** Bug 17801 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** It would also be very nice if there were again the option that was in KDE 1.x to scroll the titlebar contents back and forth if the title were too long. This is something I've missed for a loooooooooooooong time. so, you mouse over the window title, and if the title is too long, it shows a tooltip, but where would you put it (the tooltip) ? What do you mean? It would follow the same rules as any QTooltip... above the titlebar if possible, if there is not space ( if window is maximized ) below it There is no restriction that tooltips for a particular window have to be rendered inside that window, if that is what you're implying. Just try mousing over a toolbar button at the far right edge of the window, it will extend beyond the window border. Fixing spelling *** Bug 129891 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** NOTE TO SELF: check duplicates The requested feature needs to be implemented by the specific window decoration. KWin core supports the required functionality. Unfortunately the KWin development team does not develop or maintain the specific window decorations. Because of that the KWin development team is not able to implement this feature request. Given that KWin core supports the functionality the request is a WORKSFORME from the KWin point of view. We want to thank you for the feature request and are sorry that this request has been open for such a long time without getting implemented. |
