Subject: Re: New: $HOME/Mail - make it possible to change the Mail-Folder(-variable) Read the FAQ. There is explained how to change ~/Mail to something else. Do you think of http://docs.kde.org/en/3.1/kdenetwork/kmail/faq.html#id2838960 ? If so - yes I have read it before (also the german version), but no that is not the solution I suspected! I do NOT want *any* files related to KMail in my ~/Mail-directory! I even do not want any softlinks there (ln -s /somewhere/Mail/.remotedir.directory ~/Mail/.mymailboxfile.directory). Why not? First of all it is a ugly workaround, but the more important point for me is, that mutt would display this files as a mailfolder and this would result in a chaos of displaying the mailfolders. Got me? If you meant another FAQ or if I just misunderstood you - sorry, could you please point me the right FAQ/solution? Thank you! Subject: Re: $HOME/Mail - make it possible to change the Mail-Folder(-variable) The FAQ you are looking for is: "Can I configure the location of my mail directory?" The short answer is: Add folders=/home/michael/.KMail to the [General] section of ~/.kde/share/config/kmailrc. |
