Which shows it's either a kdeprint bug or a cups bug, certainly not a kword one...
Reassigning to kdeprint (but check your /var/log/cups/* files for errors....
error reporting in CUPS, well, sucks).
Try this: print to PS file, then print the result using "lpr" command-line utility. Does this work? Michael. Subject: Re: does not print via cups
Thanks for your interest. The problem's solved. It turns out that I
never installed drv_z42! Why not? I intend to find out, but at the
moment I suspect it's my bad.
