(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konqueror
Version: 4.0 (using KDE 3.0.2 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: yes
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18
OS/Compiler notes:

Something I miss from IE is the feature that brings up the connection dialog if you try access a webpage if you are not online.
Wouldn't that be a nice feature also in KDE?
When opening konqueror and trying to access kde.org without being online kppp would popup and when you're online konqueror would bring you to the webpage you requested.
For us poor people with modem connections this would be pretty sweet...

Just a thought
