(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kmail
Version: 1.2 (using KDE 2.1.2 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Linux-Mandrake 8.0 i586
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Linux-Mandrake 8.0 2.96-0.48mdk)
OS: Linux 2.4.3-20mdk i686
OS/Compiler notes:

I found it quite a daunting task tooday to reorganize my many folders in kmail.

i wanted to regroup several folders i had in the top level directory into sub folders it was easy enough to create the desired subfolders but rather painfull to get the folders in the top level directory moved into the newly created folders to become sub folders.

Drag and drop here would shure be nice or at least a right click move to...

just minor issues polish and wishes..

nice pice of work my #1 reccommended email client.

You could have used the configuration dialog of the folders to select a
new parent folder. I'm pretty sure this already worked in the version
you use. But I have to admit that this is really a hidden feature.

AFAIK someone is working on drag and drop for folders.

Nope ismail, you don't get this one :-)
IMHO this is not a dupe. Bug 18170 talks about changing the folder order, this bug is about moving folder with drag 'n'drop. It might be that they are related but one of the devs should close this then.

Moving and copying folders per drag&drop and by context menu is supported since some time now (3.5.6 or 3.5.7 I think).
