Guten Morgen. You can display many PDFs by installing the gsfonts package (Why wasn't it installed automagically?). On my Debian Potato system: apt-get install gsfonts Well a warning ("missing fonts" or something like that) would have been nice. It surely beats an empty page... This is a pdf that won't open
Something very similar now happens with Mandrake 9.0 (kdegraphics-3.0.3-11mdk.)
However I can't seem to find any package named gsfonts or similar, so I can't
tell if that is the problem. However all of it's dependencies are satisfied and
both gv and xpdf can display it.
Another Interesting note is that preview in konqueror works.
So in any event I have attached a test case of a pdf that it cannot open.
