Description Jan-Willem van de Meent 2010-01-19 18:05:34 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

After an upgrade to KDE 4.4 RC1 (qt 4.6.0, xorg-video-intel driver 2.9.0) the panel shows rendering artifacts. The behaviour can be reproducibly triggered by pressing the cashew button on the panel edge twice (opening and closing the settings pane). This leaves a black bar of about 15pix that disappears when the desktop is clicked. Notification pop-ups also leave artifacts.

Some experimentation revealed that this behaviour only occurs when the panel is positioned on either the top or left edge of the screen.

I'll upload a screenshot for reference.
