Thanks for the bug report! I cannot reproduce the problem. Which Kubuntu release do you use? And which file system? If you enable "remember view properties for each folder", are ".directory" files written to a folder if you change its view properties? I have installed Kubuntu karmic 9.10, regarding file systems, well both root
and home partitions are ext4. Remember view properties is enabled and when I
change the view settings in one folder the .directory file is updated as well
as the view according to the new settings. However if I check apply view
properties to All folders and Use as default for new folders, these selections
do not work.
