You can add one feature that will avoid first issue in this bug. * Add a shortcut that will turn on/off displaying "all articles" or "only new articles", like google reader has. if you press n, then "right" key it goes to first *unread* article, but if you press "left" key it goes to last *read* article. This may be ok for news sites for example, but for development feeds - no, you should read them in chronological order. Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved. Actually, at least as of Akregator 5.16.3 (20.12.3), if you press the RightArrow key the cursor goes to the first article on the feed (read or unread) and LeftArrow goes to the last article. There are sepparate shortcuts to go to the first unread article (KeyPadPlusSign) or last unread article (KeyPadMinusSign).
