One more related bug: Open kword, select open document and try to open this html file. It will show the same error message. Then select to create a blank document. Notice that in the new document, the title is set to the filename of the html file that it couldn't open. Same problem with a file test.htm containing only <html><body>test</body></html> This is very annoying as I use kword for a lot of html writing during work. And it has always worked with the old koffice, so this is a regression bug. Still valid for today's kword (2.0-beta4). Here are konsole's last words: kword(31424)/koffice (lib komain) KoDocument::openUrl: KoDocument::openUrl url= "file:///root/test.htm" kword(31424)/koffice (lib komain) KoDocument::readNativeService: "kwordpart.desktop" found. kword(31424)/koffice (lib komain) KoDocument::openFile: KoDocument::openFile "/root/test.htm" type: "text/html" kword(31424)/koffice (filter manager) KoFilterEntry::query: KoFilterEntry::query( "" ) kword(31424)/kdecore (KLibLoader) findLibraryInternal: plugins should not have a 'lib' prefix: "libxsltexport.so" kword(31424)/koffice (filter manager) KoFilterManager::filterAvailable: The library "" does not offer a check_ "" function. kword(31424)/koffice (filter manager) KOffice::Graph::buildGraph: Filter: "KOffice XSLT Export Filter" doesn't apply. kword(31424)/kdecore (KLibLoader) findLibraryInternal: plugins should not have a 'lib' prefix: "libhtmlimport.so" kword(31424)/kdecore (KLibLoader) kde4Factory: The library "/usr/local/lib64/kde4/libhtmlimport.so" does not offer a qt_plugin_instance function. kword(31424)/htmlfilter KHTMLReader::filter: KHTMLReader::filter kword(31424)/khtml (part) KHTMLPart::openUrl: KHTMLPart(0x819c50) opening KUrl("file:///root/test.htm") kword(31424)/khtml (part) KHTMLPart::~KHTMLPart: KHTMLPart(0x819c50) kword(31424)/khtml (part) KHTMLPart::closeUrl: Aborted before starting to render, reverting location bar to "file:///root/test.htm" kword(31424)/kparts KParts::Part::~Part: deleting widget QWidget(0x88dfe0) "" kword(31424)/kdeui (KNotification) KNotification::slotReceivedId: 0 kword(31424)/kdeui (KNotification) KNotification::close: 0 kword(31424)/kdeui (KNotification) KNotification::~KNotification: -2 Thomas, this sounds sooo cool, thanks. I still get the error message "internal error" *** Bug 254518 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Thank you for your bug report or feature suggestion. The "KOffice" application suite is no longer maintained, and all tickets are now closed. We recommend to switch to the "Calligra" application suite, which has replacements for all unmaintained KOffice applications: - KWord was replaced with Calligra Words - KPlato was replaced with Calligra Plan For more information, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calligra_Suite (This is an automatic message from the KDE bug triaging team) |
