Description Michał D. (Emdek) 2008-10-19 13:01:36 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

After adding new entry to Places some people want to add icon to that new place. When we use Edit place -> Choose an icon -> Select icon there is preselected category of Applications icons. It should be Places category, because places are added more often usually to sidebar than applications, I think.
Or at least new entry added by drag and drop from file list should preserve it's icon defined in .directory file.
The same problem exists in file dialogs.

This is already reported in another place (bug 159670)
