I cannot reproduce, can you please tell us exactly how do you restore session? Are you saving Konqueror session and opening with the File > Sessions menu, or are you restoring a KDE session with Konqueror opened? Does this still happen with a recent KDE version? I didn't use any menu's, but the dialog that Konqueror pops up after it crashed, etc.. I just tried a `killall konqueror`, and reopened konqueror, and pressed the button to restore the session (from the prompted dialog at startup). That doesn't seam to reproduce the bug for me in KDE 4.3 beta2. I'm sorry but I have to reopen this bug again: In KDE 4.2 if you leave a konqueror window open, then close KDE (and having the setting of saving KDE session for later restore it) and re-login again, when the Konqueror window gets restored it doesn't get either the "File > Open with.." menus nor the "View > View mode" menus (there's a bug report for that too see bug #185004). Yesterday I tried to locate the source of that bug quickly but I couldn't find it, tomorrow I'll nag dfaure and see if we can fix it =). But as I said, I can confirm this bug. Assign to self so that I try to fix it *** Bug 194956 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I have a question: Is it possible to "bundle" bugs which are related to session restoration in konqui? This at least the third bug, I have encountered in that field. I do not know how you organisize this, but wouldn't this make sense? I could look for the numbers of the other bugs then. Cannot reproduce. Feel free to reopen this ticket if you still encounter this problem in the latest version of KDE, v4.7.4 or higher. *** Bug 185004 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
