A spinoff of #169649, to quote:

“the setting "Double-click to open files and folders" enabled (which, by the way, doesn't completely work, in that it still opens files with a single click in file open dialogs, but that would be a different bug)”


I have run into this a few times in 4.1.0 and would love to see it fixed :)

Let’s hope this isn’t a duplicate; b.k.o didn't find anything like it.
