Description Maciej Pilichowski 2008-06-11 20:40:50 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.0.4)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

Minor thing, but I think it is a bit disturbing
logout -> shutdown
logout -> restart

Not close, but similar, to Windows case, start -> shutdown.

please, use common denominator, I think
quit
quit KDE

could be OK.

"Quit KDE" is actually "logout" and "shutdown" is actually "power off". these are well known terms these days, along with things like "restart", and so we decided to keep them as is.

I didn't described the situation fully -- I am referring the main entry in the KMenu, not to the items. In Kickoff it is fixed, there is "leave" entry.

So ok, it could leave in KMenu as well, but not logout, because you cannot say, oh, this logout, does not mean logout.

In other words, currently meaning is
logout!=logout

which is bad (reopening).
