I just looked into that. KOrganizer uses the tree view, Qt's QTreeView, correctly. I tried a very simple example to test QTreeView, and even there it's possible to select all items using Ctrl+A even if single selection is enabled. I submitted this as a bug to Trolltech, I don't think that it makes sense to work around this issue in KOrganizer. There are other bugs/wishes about editing multiple items at once, e.g. #141258 or #141970, and I think that's the way we should go. But that's too big changes for 4.1. This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kontact (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months. Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input. |
