It is possible to remap keys on X11. As the requested functionality requires to change the modifiers it is non trivial. Given that the effect is only an addition I think that having one possible meta shortcut as good enough. Nevertheless I want to thank you for your suggestion. *** Bug 259486 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I know this bug has been closed, but for the record, this is the reason why I have mouse marks turned off. I have meta-shift-[0-9] set to move windows to another virtual desktop. Hence, if I nudge my mouse while doing this, I get red lines on my screen. Although I like mouse marks, I don't use it very frequently, so it's better to just turn it off, since I cannot assign it to a different key combination. |
