Similar to bug #56670 (which is referred only to kmail) It seems be similar but I'm not sure whether the LibPST is able to convert all items (contact, to-do, note etc.) It would be fine prepare simple GUI for desktop users like import contacts from Microsoft PAB ;?) I prefer do it all in one step than import items particularly by Kontact's components (Kmail, Contacts, Calendar etc.) *** Bug 165239 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 153192 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** similar bug reported against kdepim 4.3.4 on Debian BTS: http://bugs.debian.org/572915 It seems PST spec. were released recently (february 2010): http://blogs.msdn.com/interoperability/archive/2010/02/19/New-Office-Documentation-Now-Publicly-Available.aspx http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff385210.aspx libpst project is alive: http://www.five-ten-sg.com/libpst/ latest release is 0.6.46, tagged 3 weeks ago: http://hg.five-ten-sg.com/libpst/ Maybe it could be used to provide this feature ? |
