Simon, Why you still to use this unmaintened plugin instead the native camera gui include in digiKam core ? Gilles Caulier Gilles, because that is what opens when I plug in the CF card and I choose "download photo's with digikam". I didn't know this module was unmaintained and it doesn't seem intuitive to use a "camera interface" for downloading from a CF card using a cardreader. I am open to suggestions, but basically I use what is presented to me in the GUI... Cheers Simon Hum, sound like you use the right Camera GUI (:=))) Give me a screenshot of the interface to be sure. this is what I use to download images.
Ok. this fiel is at the wrong place (:=)))... Gilles Caulier Simon, Which version of digiKam you use ? In current 0.9.4-beta2, i have fixed several bugs especially about your report. Can you test 0.9.4-beta2 or better, try to compile current implementation from svn repository ? Gilles Caulier Also, which libgphoto2 you use ? Note than kipi-plugins is not used here. Camera interface is a component from digiKam core. Gilles Caulier I can try compiling digikam-svn, but I'm not sure when I will be able to do it. May take a few days... Ok. thanks Simon. I still here. Gilles I managed to compile and install 0.9.4svn, so far I've not seen the download problem, so I guess it is fixed. I'll close the bug for now, if it re-appears, I'll reopen it. |
