Description Tom McLernon 2008-03-08 06:18:41 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

If sideshow mode is used on the desktop, when the first wallpaper is changed out the screen goes to white and remains that way. There is a brief flash of each wallpaper on changeover, but 99% of the time the screen is white. Does not seem to crash anything, and all the programs seem to work. It will not change back to static wallpaper, to do that I have to restart the PC.

I have the same problem with kde 4.0.2, when one changes the wallpaper (haven't tried the slideshow yet), the screen goes white. The problem is that when i reset kde, the new wallpaper setting isn't saved. The problem hasn't occured in prevous versions ( kde 4.0.0-4.0.1). I'm using Ubuntu Gutsy. Hope it gets fixed, Mike.
