Version: (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

In short the problem is, that I have USB/ADSL modem, I am online, but I run also knetworkmanager, I don't use cable connection, or wireless so for KNM I am offline, but in general I am online. I can use ftp, ssh, telnet, etc. no problem.

But -- for KDE I am offline, I cannot use KMail, Konqueror, etc. KDE is simply deaf for network.

You know the global offline/online KDE module is OpenSuSE-specific, don't you?
Comment 2 Maciej Pilichowski 2008-03-05 18:03:09 UTC
No, thanks Pino. Where can I find it? Is this module a cause of such behaviour?
Comment 3 FiNeX 2008-03-06 11:22:21 UTC
You should ask to the OpenSuSE support.

Comment 5 George Goldberg 2008-06-03 04:02:05 UTC
Since bug is reported to OpenSUSE now, I'll close this one (since KDE doesn't make the product where the bug is).
