Installed from: Fedora RPMs

Sometimes sending a mail via SMTP fails. The most common cause for this in my experience is that the wrong transport was selected for the location. e.g. Some mails are composed off-line, and sent from the next place you go on-line at.

What happens: kmail puts up a window with the SMTP error code, and a "continue / abort" option.

What would be better: the window has a "retry with different transport" option where you can choose a different transport. This would be more efficient than what normally happens: you click "Abort", then choose "Send with transport" from the "File" menu.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
