The gallery.xml file that was created but "could not be accessed"
This is the gallery.xml file which Digikam *did* create (but for some reason is
not able to 'access' according to it's error message).
It seems, to my untrained eye, to be well-formed.
Also, I can confirm that this does not happen for all albums. I tried it with a smaller album and this one loaded fine (though they both used the matrix style). It might be something to do with the filenames of the images or something. For that reason I attached the gallery.xml file itself a few minutes ago. I hope this helps! This is a duplicate of bug 140374: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=140374 even though this one came first, that one is more detailed and has actually discovered the root cause.
