> This is ridiculous, but should also be trivial to fix.
Please let the developers make assumptions on how easy things are to fix, unless you know the KMail source by heart.
And can you be more specific about "a tiny bit"? Is it after opening certain messages or attachments?
At first glance this looks rather like a configuration issue but I could be wrong. Just to be sure, check your font settings in the KDE Control Center and the KMail settings.
> And can you be more specific about "a tiny bit"? Is it after opening certain messages or attachments? No I can't, sorry. Before, it would happen after a few minutes-hours of use. Now, it happens all the time when I first open the application. > At first glance this looks rather like a configuration issue but I could be wrong. Just to be sure, check your font settings in the KDE Control Center and the KMail settings. None of my font settings, e.g. fixed-width, are set to such a font. I've never seen or heard of anything like this. Do you see the same problem with a newly-created user? Probably related to bug 145700 Have the same bug on KMail (Kontakt Version 1.2.4 (enterprise 20070904.708012), Suse 10.3). Suddenly (apparently with no reason) the message display windows switches to "Standard Symbol L". To fix I need either to restart KMail, or to switch manually back to "sans serif". As KDE 4.3 has a completely rewritten message list view and I never encountered this problem, I'm closing this bug. If you can still see this problem with a recent KDE version, please reopen. |
