Description Dima Ryazanov 2007-04-26 18:46:26 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.1.1 (Gentoo 4.1.1-r3)
OS: Linux

If I start dragging an image or a link in any KHTML window (Konqueror, KMail, KControl), very soon it starts leaving traces. It doesn't happen immediately, and it seems to happen only if you drag the object fast. But, it happens consistently - just pick a link, and start moving it around the screen quickly.

I wonder why this bug has still status "UNCONFIRMED" after seven months.
It looks like many (if not all) distributions with KDE >= 3.5.6 and not only konqueror are affected. And this bug is a pretty annoying one.
Comment 6 Ralf Hemmenstaedt 2007-12-02 22:57:14 UTC
Well, I upgraded to kde 3.5.8 on a test box and voila, it looks like it is fixed in version 3.5.8.

Comment 7 mutlu inek 2008-04-20 22:59:58 UTC
The last reporter already claimed that this was fixed for 3.5.8. I also cannot reproduce it with Konqui from KDE 3.5.9, nor with Konqui from KDE4 trunk, r798847.
Comment 8 James Spahlinger 2008-04-21 10:33:45 UTC
Cannot reproduce with 3.5.9. Closing
