Description Andres Blanc 2007-03-17 03:17:42 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

As I suggested in: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=54638

The idea is to add a "flexible separator" element to the toolbar edition dialog.

Similar to the one found in firefox.

It fills all free space available in the toolbar, pushing the widgets to either their leftmost or rightmost position possible.

I don't think I have seen this suggestion yet.
Thanks

this is the default behavior of the spacer if is not manually resized.
of course if is put in a panel together with a taskbar it cat take at most half of the space because the taskbar behaves in the exact same way, therefore competing from the space.
if you put the spacer in a panel that only has fixed size items like icons, pager, systray etc, it will behave as described

erk, sorry, seeing the kdelook link tought it was specific for the panel, not att the toolbars of the applications
