Version:           1.9.6 (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

Since upgrading to KDE 3.5.6, kmail doesn't include attachments when inline forwarding a mail.  Only body text is in the forwarded mail.

Isn't this the same issue as in bug #91132?
Only difference is that that bug was opened before KDE 3.5.6

I don't think this is the same as bug #91132.  3.5.6 introduced new "templates" functionality, and I believe that the template macro %TEXT doesn't include the attachments.  Someone who knows the source may know better, of course.

Bug seems fixed - a recent update to the SuSE rpm package "kdepim3-3.5.6-35.2" behaves as expected, and forwards attachments with body text.
