Description Michał Kosmulski 2006-09-03 12:25:27 UTC
Version: 0.8.0 (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Slackware Packages
OS: Linux

In the Image Comments/Tags dialog box, the image is sometimes a bit too small to see all details and so in order to check whether it's the correct image I'm tagging, I have to close the dialog and view the image full-size in the viewer. It would be very nice to be able to:
* have the image in the dialog grow when the dialog box is enlarged
* have the option to enlarge the image or a part of it - either by adding some zoom controls to the window, or by showing a small portion of the image in 1:1 scale when the right mouse button is pressed over the image (this is how zooming is handled in xdvi for example)

Michal,

This bug report is invalid, since in digiKam 0.9.0 the dialog have been remplaced by a side bar in Album GUI and Image Editor. Take a look of the screenshot available at this url:

Note: first 0.9.0-beta1 is already released. 0.9.0-beta2 is planed during september. I recommend you, if you can, to test current implementation from svn trunk.

OK, thanks. This seems to solve my problem.
