Another nice feature will be to show how many entities (normally images) are being retrieved (just as konqueror does). In a slow machine (200 Mhz), where all the CPU is used to render the HTML view of 100+ articles with images (for example freshmeat), it will be nice to know how much you have to wait to be able to read the articles in a normal way. While the HTML page is being rendered, I have to wait from pressing the PageDown key to a pagedown more than 5 seconds. Best regards. I consider error messages in the tray noise - there are always a few feeds not fetchable (at least when you have a bigger list). I don't think one has to care about the fetching state either - the interesting thing is whether new articles arrived or not. |
