This was my first use of KOrganizer, and I first switched to 'month view'.  I used the right mouse button to select 'enter new event', and the program immediately crashed.  I tried launching the program again, but this time used the tool-bar to enter a new event - the program crashed again.

Sorry I cannot give you the compiler info requested - if this is still required, advise me and I will find it for you (with help from someone else).
