Version:            (using KDE 3.5.0 Level "a" , SUSE 10.0 UNSUPPORTED)
Compiler:          Target: i586-suse-linux
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15.7-default

The German translation for "system:/remote" is "Entfernte Orte". This can mean "remote places"  but also "removed places". A couple users here thought this was Linux's way of naming the recycling bin. ;)

Maybe "Netzwerk" (network) or "Netzwerkdienste" (network services) would be a better translation?

Thank you for your report, we have changed the string to "Netzwerk".
The bug has been fixed.
