*** Bug 116246 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Agreed -- this should be on by default. Also, "List only open folders" should probably be "check only open folders" for clarity. (For those just reading this bug and looking for this feature, in Kontact it's located in Settings > Configure Kmail > Accounts Icon > Receiving > Your Mail Account > Modify > List Open Folders.) It also tends to freeze when it hits large shared (Public) folders. I used to work for a Fortune 500 that had thousands of Exchange folders and it would take twenty minutes to check mail. Great feature! Turn it on by default. ;-) Out of curiosity, what does that option actually *do*? I mean, in this context, what's an open folder? Why would I only want to list (or check) them and not the others? I can't find this documented anywhere. Want to know, too. Where can I find this option? Is it still present in KDE 4.3? |
