I think that the bug report is valid for the untranslated message: <qt>Not all characters fit into the chosen encoding.<br><br>Send the message anyway?</qt> (messagecomposer.cpp, line 2091) The original message does not tell explicitely either that characters will be lost if the (wrong) encoding is forced. Have a nice day! comment #1 (I do not know enought german to talk about the original report) is still present in kmail 1.10.1 (kde 4.1.66). This bug may be related to (at least triggered by) bug #88781. The german translation now (KDE 4.3) holds the buttons as "Zeichen verlieren" and "Kodierung ändern" which much better suits an Action than the previous text mentioned in the report. Also, the title holds "Einige Zeichen werden verloren gehen" which tells the user something bad will happen. |
